Bring your own firearm for the training. I suggest that you use a firearm of at least .38 Special or 9MM or larger however, if a large caliber firearm is too much for you feel free to bring a firearm that you can safely handle. If you have a question as to whether your firearm is suitable please feel free to ask by sending me an email at seminar@nvtcs.org. For all firearms courses, no ammunition is allowed in the classroom. Leave your ammunition in your car as you will need it for the range session.
The course begins 9:00 AM on Saturday August 1, 2009. Bring a lunch - there is a refrigerator available. Upon completion of the classroom section we will depart for the firing range.The cost for attending Utah Firearms Permit Training is $85. $25 of tuition is non-refundable. Please note that this fee does not cover the cost of the firing range or your ammunition. Checks made out to Kenneth Elliott may be mailed to Kenneth Elliott, 8690 Young Court, Springfield, VA 22153. Mark the envelope on the outside with "UTAH PERMIT TRAINING".
The workshop will be held at 2611 Jefferson Davis Highway, Suite 11111, Arlington, VA 22202. For those familiar with Arlington the location of the course is in Airport Plaza II in Crystal City and convenient to Reagan National Airport (DCA). NOTE: I am not in the street naming/numbering business - while the mailing address of the class location is the one given previously the actual location is at 2611 Clark Street which is just off of Jefferson Davis Highway and immediately by the bridge from Jefferson Davis Highway to Reagan National Airport.
